About Sarayu
I'm an Economics with Data Science student and I achieved an A at A-level Chemistry myself, so I know exactly what it takes to succeed in the subject. I've been tutoring for over 5 years, working with students through Achievers Academy and MyTutor, as well as supporting students with additional learning needs (SEND) and mentoring younger students. Outside of academics, I'm also a coxswain for my university rowing team, which has taught me a lot about staying calm under pressure and communicating clearly — skills that carry over well into tutoring.
I know how stressful GCSEs and A-levels can feel, especially with everything else going on. My aim is to make lessons feel supportive and structured, not stressful, so you leave each session a bit more confident than when you started.

I focus on building real understanding, not memorisation — starting each lesson by identifying gaps, then working through concepts with diagrams, real-world examples, and active recall. Students do the talking; if you can explain it back to me, you've learnt it.
Lessons run 60 minutes, with shorter revision-focused sessions available around exam periods.
I've tutored for 5+ years, achieved an A at A-level Chemistry, and I'm now studying Economics at university — which sharpens how I explain data and quantitative concepts. I also have experience supporting students with SEND, adapting pace and explanations to suit how each student learns.
Lessons are for KS2, GCSE and A-level Chemistry students, whether building foundations, aiming for top grades, or catching up.
