About Julia
As a student at one of Canada's top universities currently working towards a degree in education, I have the most current and specialized knowledge surrounding how to create effective, age appropriate lessons that will meet students where they are at and challenge them to achieve, and hopefully surpass, their goals. I have a through understanding of how to write an effective essay and what academic institutions are looking for in their writing, which is reflected in my 3.9 GPA and continuous academic achievements throughout high school. most importantly, I have experience working both with youth and ESL speakers who are in the process of improving their english language skills, and know how to give these students what they need to effectively read, speak and write in english.

Typical lessons will be tailored to individual students needs and levels, but can include:
-Detailed lessons and exercises to practice english grammar, sentence structure and pronunciation
-Read-along sessions where I can directly identify and correct mistakes in reading, followed by writing exercises to help further strengthen english comprehension skills and apply newly learned information
-Practice speaking through a variety of public speaking exercises designed to help improve conversational skills and improvised english speaking
-Assistance with editing/structuring paragraphs, essays and other pieces of academic writing, ensuring that writing meets current academic standards and is properly cited. This would also include tips and strategies to help students continue to improve their academic writing moving forward.
