About Gealene
We all know that teachers can be very impatient, disrespectful and misunderstanding. Many times teachers can not cater to all the different needs of the various students in their class. The aim is for the student to progress in a comfortable environment. The student should feel understood, in a respectful and professional way.

The Afrikaans language is very challenging on its own, especially when you are not exposed to it often. Most students are required to learn this language as a second language and a little extra help can be needed. With Afrikaans being my vernacular and patience being one of my strengths, I am confident that I can be of assistance to many struggling students. A typical lesson with me would include language-and literature detailed explanation. My lessons are aimed at grades 4 to 10 with Afrikaans Home Language as well as Afrikaans First Additional Language.
