About Shivani

Hi! My name is Shivani, and I am an Educational Resource Worker who is passionate about helping children grow in confidence and succeed in their learning. I have experience working with children of all abilities and learning needs, and I truly believe that every child can learn when they are supported in the right way.

I create a safe, patient, and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable being themselves, asking questions, and learning at their own pace. I understand that each child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching strategies to meet individual needs — whether that means breaking lessons into smaller steps, using hands-on activities, or offering extra encouragement and reassurance.

I focus not only on academic skills like English and reading, but also on building confidence, independence, and a love for learning. Watching children gain belief in themselves is the most rewarding part of what I do.

I am caring, reliable, and committed to supporting both children and families. My goal is to help each child feel successful, capable, and proud of their progress — no matter how big or small.

Learning English doesn’t have to feel hard or scary — it can be fun, encouraging, and confidence-building! As an Educational Resource Worker, I work closely with children of all abilities and learning styles, and I understand that every child learns differently.

I create a safe, patient, and positive space where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and trying again. Whether a child needs help with reading, speaking, or confidence, I adjust my teaching to meet their needs — not the other way around.
