About Molly

Hello! I'm a native English speaker born and raised in the East of England. I'm here to help you speak English naturally and fluently, through fun and relaxed conversation practice tailored to you.

I truly believe that learning a new language is a wonderful, exciting and door-opening experience. It can be challenging, but absolutely worth the effort. I know this because I'm going through the process of learning one myself.

As a result, I'm well aware of the challenges involved. It can be difficult to know where to start, to find learning resources which work for you, and, especially, scary to make mistakes. Once you've reached an intermediate level in which you understand most grammar but struggle to spontaneously express yourself, speaking and listening practice is the key to progressing quickly. Through fun, relaxed conversation classes, together we can improve your proficiency in the English language fast, efficiently, and in a judgement-free zone.

I have A's in GCSE and A Level English Literature and now work full time as a professional copywriter, which involves the communication of ideas through creative written expression. During my A Levels, I also tutored struggling native English speakers to prepare for their GCSE English exams and improve their grades.

About the lesson

In my experience of learning a language, speaking and listening are the two crucial areas to master if you want to reach the point of effortless communication.

The most important thing is to get used to thinking in your target language. We'll work on this through relaxed online or face-to-face conversations, which train you to think and respond spontaneously, as well as learn common idiomatic expressions used in everyday English. Depending on your current level, we will begin with basic conversation topics like your daily routine, and work up to more advanced conversation topics involving the expression of opinions and ideas.

I know that English learners often struggle to get rid of their native accents. I have a strong British English accent which can help you to improve your pronunciation :)

Classes are open to lower-mid intermediate level (B1-B2) adult learners.
