About Kaitee
Hello! I'm Kaitee- a teacher of over 6 years and bilingual speaker (English and Spanish). I can also sign a bit (ASL). I have a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Master's Degree in Education. I love all things related to language and reading. I have taught grades 3-5 and tutored grades 2-7.
I'm a mom of a baby boy and two dogs. I also recently started raising chickens! I currently teach 3rd grade full-time and Migrant Education part-time.

I tailor each lesson or series of lessons to each student's needs, interests, and grade level. As a classroom teacher, I am experienced in differentiation and adapting assignments to suit student needs.
Some types of lessons/unit plans I have designed:
-Novel Studies with vocabulary, comprehension questions, and culminating projects.
-Engaging lessons with visuals, videos, and checks for understanding.
-Fun practice games and activities to encourage retention of the content being taught.
-Project-based learning with cross-cutting curricular topics.
