About Kathleen
I treat every session as a custom build for your specific goals. Guitar playing is an accessible physical art.
We start by assessing your current skills to create a focused plan for your development. You will learn lead guitar techniques through simple and effective exercises.
My sessions cover acoustic technique and rhythm work for all performance-focused students. Having a degree from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland keeps my instruction grounded in high-level musicianship. We can book a free trial session to assess your starting level immediately. This helps me get a clear picture of what you need to succeed.
My students enjoy the challenge of mastering new scales and patterns. It is rewarding to see you finally nail that difficult chord transition after a few attempts. You will find that playing the guitar becomes an incredibly relaxing part of your week.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Voice from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland provided me with a rigorous standard for all performance arts. These 365 students I have mentored over 5 years represent a diverse range of abilities and musical backgrounds. Working professionals appreciate how I structure lessons to fit their busy schedules while ensuring steady progress.
Teens often come to me wanting to master electric technique or play their favourite songs with precision. My teaching style relies on clear demonstrations of barre chords and complex strumming patterns.
I bring a high level of patience to every session regardless of your starting point. Improvisation and soloing are key areas I emphasise to help you find your own musical voice. Reading tabs is a fundamental skill we will refine so you can learn music independently.
I have seen 365 musicians gain confidence through this structured approach to guitar mastery. I honestly love watching my students find excitement in their own musical growth.
