About Daniel

I have always enjoyed learning, but didn't always find my teachers understood how I learnt. I always look for the best ways to explain concepts and help students understand what they are learning. As a university student, I am constantly applying key concepts of Maths and Physics in my engineering degree, and look forward to helping other young people achieve their potential in key subjects. I have experience tutoring GCSE Maths and Physics, with fantastic results. My students over the last couple of years have achieved above their expectations consistently.

About the lesson

I am a current undergraduate engineering student applying maths and physics skills in my labs and seminars every day. I help students work through concepts of the GCSE syllabus and work with various past paper questions to improve exam technique. I am flexible with timing depending on your need and my availability but a typical session would last approx. 1-2 hours. I have 9s at GCSE level and took both Maths and Physics for A Level, with the added benefit of being very familiar with the current GCSE specification, having taken these exams more recently than most tutors. I offer tailored tutoring sessions for GCSE students at any level (Foundation or Higher), roughly aged 14-16.
