About Akhila
I am an Electrical Engineer [EEE from VIT] and I have qualifications in economics and theoretical physics as well. I have a keen interest in maths and physics and I believe that these subjects can be made fun and easy for anyone [though most of us learn to be scared of them in school].

I believe that simple, relatable explanations can make even the most seemingly complex ideas accessible to all students.
Methodology:
I like to rely on audio-visual aids [diagrams, examples, explanation videos, etc] to facilitate understanding. My primary goal in a lesson is to ensure a thorough understanding of the concepts being studied so that a student does not have to waste time and effort outside class and struggle with homework to do the same.
Usual Structure:
I like to break every session into 4 parts-
1. Basics- Here I will introduce the topic for the session and discuss the main principles
2. Problem-solving [Basic]- Here we will work together on some simple problems to check if the basics are understood and resolve any questions regarding the same
3. Advanced ideas- Here we will discuss some of the more complex ideas [and I'll try to keep it as light and enjoyable as possible so you don't get bored]
4. Problem-solving [Advanced]- We will work on some of the more complicated problems in this topic.

My two main special skills are:
- I'm very patient and calm [I don't believe in shouting/getting angry/irritated/being negative]
- I will find the method that suits you best and tailor-make your lesson plan to suit your interest and your pace. I believe that the same explanation does not work for everyone so taking the time to find out what works best for whom is essential.
For whom are the classes intended:
- School students from grade 5 to 12 [with a focus on 9 to 12] in ICSE, CBSE and IB.
- Adults of all ages and education levels who want to learn fundamentals.
-College students who want help with a specific area in engineering maths or physics [with a focus on electrical/electronics, thermodynamics and aeronautics]
