About Srikar

I am an electrical engineering student with a strong background in mathematics and a passion for helping students understand challenging concepts. Throughout my academic journey, I have spent several years assisting students with subjects ranging from algebra and geometry to precalculus and calculus.

Because I am currently studying engineering, I regularly apply advanced mathematics in my coursework, which helps me explain concepts in a practical and clear way. I understand the challenges students face when transitioning from high school math to college-level courses, and I enjoy helping them build the confidence needed to succeed.

My goal as a tutor is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through difficult problems.

What students can expect when working with me:
• Clear step-by-step explanations
• Patience and encouragement while learning new concepts
• Practical strategies for solving complex problems
• Guidance for preparing for college-level STEM courses

I believe that with the right guidance and practice, every student can become more confident and capable in mathematics.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to help high school seniors and incoming college freshmen transition smoothly into college-level mathematics. As an electrical engineering student, I focus on building strong conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I guide students step by step through algebra, precalculus, and calculus concepts so they develop confidence and strong problem-solving skills.

A typical lesson begins by reviewing the student’s current material, identifying areas that need improvement, and working through problems together. I encourage students to explain their thinking and approach problems logically so they build long-term understanding rather than short-term memorization.

These lessons are especially helpful for students preparing for calculus, engineering math, or other STEM courses at the college level.

What I can help with:
• Algebra I & II + Geometry and Precalculus (revision)
• Calculus preparation for college
• Multivariable Calculus preparation
• Problem-solving strategies for STEM students
• Homework help and exam preparation
• Building strong math fundamentals before college
