About Aliza
Hi! I’m a first-year Electrical Engineering student at the University of Toronto who is passionate about helping students build confidence in math and physics. Having recently navigated high school math and physics myself, I understand where students typically get stuck and how overwhelming rigid formulas can feel. My goal isn't just to help students memorize steps, but to foster genuine understanding by connecting textbook theory to real-world applications—drawing on my hands-on background with 3D design and engineering projects. Whether you need weekly support to keep up with high school coursework, targeted help before an exam, or guidance on STEM fundamentals, I tailor every session to your unique learning style and pace.

My lessons are structured, interactive, and completely tailored to what you need each week, whether that's tackling tricky homework, preparing for a unit test, or getting ahead of the curriculum. We typically start with a brief check-in on sticky concepts, move into step-by-step problem solving using interactive digital whiteboard notes for clear visual learning, and spend time on guided practice where you take the lead so you feel truly confident solving problems on your own. I emphasize understanding why a method works over mindless repetition, and students are always welcome to share topics or questions ahead of time so we maximize every minute of our session.
