About Nihar Kanta
Energetic, self-motivated with research experience in Radar Cross Section, dispersive material modeling, and Antenna. focused on numerical modeling for RCS, Antenna, EMC/EMI, Radome, and RF components.
Professional Highlights :
- Research fellow in a DRDO project, Govt. of India during 2015-18 at Berhampur University.
- Project Assistant at CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories during 2019-20.
Academics :
- PhD, authored project reports and published papers in refereed journals, book chapters, conference
publications and presentations.
Research interests
- Advanced FDTD modeling for EM problems, and application of soft computing techniques to numerical
modeling for reducing computational burden.
- Developed two algorithms for RCS calculation hybridizing FDTD code and machine learning code to get
computational advantage over parallel FDTD commercial packages.
