About Kaila
Currently earning my degree in Elementary Education. However, I've been working with kids for 10+ years. Most of the experiences involve babysitting, but within those gigs, I've had to help the kids with their homework. As well, aside from the homework, I did fun activities with them to help their memorization. I enjoy watching that moment my student's eyes brighten for getting the answer right on their own, and realizing they can do the work.

With math and English being known as "boring" subjects, I ensure to include moments of fun in my lessons. Sometimes it's games, other times, it's simple activities to get their prior knowledge activated.
What makes me different? The patience I have! My goal is to help your child(ren)/you "ace" the material. Ace doesn't always mean the perfect score or even high 90s grade. Sometimes it's as simple as wanting to change a C to a B-. Or, if younger (like elementary), it's to ensure your child(ren) feels confident in their skills.
I take my time as a tutor, and go over what my student is struggling with. If the approach I'm taking isn't working for them, then we will readjust and I'll find a new direction to take. I'll do everything I can to help.
My lessons are for elementary students, and regarding Math, middle school (Pre-Algebra, sometimes Algebra).
