About Tracey
I have been an elementary educator for 30 years in both Florida and New York. I believe all students have the potential to achieve greatness if they work hard to achieve it. I relate a person's brain to a race car's engine: you'll never know how fast it can go if you don't step on the gas and take it for a drive! The same goes for our brain: we have to push it and work it so we can see how "fast" it can acquire new knowledge and increase the speed at which we can retrieve the knowledge we have learned. Let me be the " pit boss" as you drive your race car around the proverbial academic racetrack.

As a professional educator for over 30 years, I am highly-qualified to help you reach your academic goals. My philosophy is that all learners can set an academic standard for themselves and then do everything in their power to achieve it. My role would be to help you if and when there are academic hurdles in your way as you embark on your journey. I try to make learning time a fun time, because we should always try to enjoy what we are doing, even if it's something we don't want to do but we have todo it. My lessons are for students who need some academic tutoring in Kindergarten through 8th grade level academics, but I am open to learners of all ages.

I received my Bachelor of Science degree from American University in Washington, D.C. and my Masters Degree in Reading from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. I am certified in Elementary Education K-6, Reading K-12,and have endorsements in Gifted, English for Speakers of Other Languages, and the Civics Course of Excellence (Social Studies).
