About Pau
As a psychology student with a strong interest in education, I offer a distinct combination of abilities and background. Having worked as a paraprofessional in an elementary school and obtained certification as a substitute teacher, I have developed my capacity to assist young students. Being proficient in both English and Spanish allows me to relate to a wide range of students. I am enthusiastic about integrating my understanding of psychology and education to develop interactive, student-focused lessons that promote both academic progress and socio-emotional growth.

I believe in using visual aids, manipulatives, and real-world examples for teaching number sense, addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, and fractions/decimals. I always encourage student explanations, provide feedback, and make connections to everyday life. I strive to be patient, supportive, and flexible to meet individual needs.
