About Denise
With 9 years of experience teaching PreK–5, I’ve helped students grow from early readers into confident, capable learners—many going on to qualify for accelerated and advanced academic programs.
I believe every child can succeed with the right support. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and personalized, meeting each student where they are and helping them move forward with confidence.

Teaching Method and Techniques
I focus on making reading and language arts fun, engaging, and easy to understand for young learners. My goal is to help kids build strong reading skills while also growing their confidence.
I use a mix of phonics, guided reading, and interactive activities to keep students interested. We might read stories together, play word games, or practice writing in creative ways. I always adjust my approach based on how each child learns best, so lessons feel comfortable—not overwhelming.
