About Breanna
I have been an elementary school teacher for three years now. I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I have always had a love for learning and teaching. I actually started tutoring in high school and have occasionally done it on the side ever since.

I teach second graders, so I specialize in teaching my students how to read and write English. I like to start out by seeing what my students already know and what they need the most help with and go from there. When it comes to reading and writing English, I focus a lot of my instruction on phonemic awareness and phonics. I have the most experience teaching children, but I like to say that I can teach anyone who is willing to learn!
