Hi, I’m Yug Patel, and I’m passionate about helping students conquer math and build skills that last a lifetime. As a dedicated tutor, I specialize in guiding middle and high school students through the twists and turns of numbers—from fractions and algebra to trigonometry and beyond. My mission? To make math not just understandable, but exciting—and to show how it connects to real life, like budgeting for your first apartment or decoding the world around us. My Journey I’ve always loved problem-solving—whether it’s cracking a tricky equation or figuring out how to turn goals into reality. Growing up, I saw math as a toolbox for independence, helping me plan my own path (like moving out on my own terms!). That spark drives me to teach students the same: math isn’t just homework—it’s power. With 6 of tutoring experience and a knack for breaking down complex ideas, I’ve helped dozens of students boost grades, ace tests, and gain confidence. In high school I tutored kids in the neighboring middle/elementary school, and currently tutor kids who've suffered from domestic violence help them do homework then fun activities What I Offer My approach blends clear explanations, hands-on practice, and real-world fun. Think scavenger hunts for equations or budgeting projects that mirror adulting—like the move I’m planning now! I tailor lessons to each student, whether you’re a 6th-grader mastering decimals or a 12th-grader tackling calculus.
