About Owen
My piano teaching methodology is designed to make learning both practical and inspiring. By incorporating real-life examples and musical case studies, I connect theory with practice, showing students how the skills they’re building apply to real-world performances and compositions. I adapt my approach to each student’s pace and learning style, ensuring that every lesson meets them where they are and helps them progress confidently. Patience is key in my sessions—I encourage questions and repetition, allowing students to absorb concepts fully before moving forward.
In addition to piano, I can also guide students in related musical areas such as theory, composition, and ear training, helping them gain a well-rounded understanding of music. This adaptable and patient approach, combined with real-world applications, equips students with both technical mastery and a deeper appreciation for music, making each lesson both meaningful and enjoyable.
