About Holly
I am a Chess tutor with more than 20 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 1520 students. My passion is helping learners strengthen concentration, strategic thinking, patience, and problem-solving abilities through chess education.
Throughout my coaching career, I have worked with beginners, school competitors, club players, tournament participants, and advanced learners seeking higher ratings and stronger performance.
Many students have improved ratings, achieved tournament victories, strengthened analytical thinking, and developed confidence through my coaching and guidance.
My goal is to help every learner become a stronger chess player while enjoying the intellectual challenges and lifelong benefits that chess provides.

My Chess lessons focus on helping students develop strategic thinking, tactical awareness, analytical reasoning, and competitive confidence through structured instruction and practical gameplay. Lessons cover Opening Theory, Middlegame Planning, Tactical Combinations, Positional Play, Endgame Techniques, Tournament Preparation, Time Management, and Advanced Game Analysis.
Students learn through tactical puzzles, training games, opening preparation exercises, strategic discussions, positional studies, and detailed game reviews. Lessons emphasize understanding ideas, planning effectively, and improving decision-making skills.
Advanced learners focus on master-level game analysis, tournament preparation, psychological resilience, advanced endgame theory, strategic planning, and performance optimization techniques. Students develop the ability to think critically and perform confidently under competitive conditions.
Personalized training plans, regular assessments, and continuous coaching help learners achieve measurable improvement and long-term success in chess competitions and personal development.
