About Rowan
I am an enthusiastic French tutor with 12 years of experience working with school and college students. My goal is to help learners master French through creative teaching methods, personalized guidance, and continuous encouragement.
My teaching style includes grammar instruction, vocabulary building, pronunciation improvement, reading comprehension, writing practice, listening exercises, and spoken French. Students learn through practical conversations, storytelling, debates, and interactive classroom activities.
I use innovative teaching techniques such as digital flashcards, educational games, multimedia presentations, French videos, podcasts, online assessments, and language-learning software. These resources improve student engagement while making lessons more effective.
Besides French, I teach French Grammar, Spoken French, Reading Skills, Writing Skills, Vocabulary Development, French Literature, DELF Exam Coaching, Business French, French Culture, and Travel French.
My greatest achievement is helping students become independent learners who enjoy using French confidently in school, work, and daily life.

My goal as a French tutor is to create a learning experience that is practical, motivating, and focused on real communication. I teach using Accountability, Integrity, Flexibility, Communication, and Positivity because these values help students stay committed and enjoy every stage of learning.
Every course begins with understanding the student's current knowledge, strengths, and goals. Based on this assessment, I prepare personalized lessons that match their pace and encourage continuous improvement.
My teaching covers grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, speaking, reading, and writing through conversations, pronunciation practice, reading activities, writing exercises, and interactive learning tasks. Students are encouraged to apply French in meaningful situations, making learning both enjoyable and effective.
Communication plays a central role in every lesson. Students can ask questions freely, express themselves confidently, and receive constructive feedback that supports continuous improvement.
Accountability is encouraged through assignments, vocabulary practice, revision sessions, and progress tracking. Integrity reflects my commitment to honesty, professionalism, and equal respect for every learner. Flexibility enables me to personalize lessons according to different learning styles, while Positivity creates a welcoming learning environment.
Besides French, I also teach grammar, pronunciation, conversational French, vocabulary development, reading comprehension, writing skills, exam preparation, and effective study techniques. My aim is to help students become fluent and confident French communicators.
