About Archer
With 12+ years of experience as a violin tutor, I have had the opportunity to teach around 300 students from different age groups, including high school, college, and adult learners. My teaching approach focuses on creating a supportive and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable to learn and grow.
I believe that learning music should be both structured and enjoyable. I carefully design each lesson based on the student’s level and interest. I focus on technique, rhythm, and expression while also encouraging creativity. One of my proud achievements is helping students improve quickly and perform confidently in front of others. Many of my students have developed strong musical skills and a deep interest in violin. I aim to make every lesson meaningful and inspiring so students stay motivated throughout their learning journey.

I believe learning violin should be a balanced mix of understanding, practice, and enjoyment. I use practical examples and simple explanations to help students learn concepts like timing, pitch control, and musical feel.
My lessons begin with building a strong base through posture, bowing, and basic exercises, and then slowly move to more advanced playing. I do not follow a strict one-style method; instead, I adjust my teaching based on each student’s learning ability and goals.
I create a calm and supportive environment where students feel confident to communicate. I guide them with clear instructions and regular feedback. I also encourage self-practice and independent thinking. I follow discipline, honesty, and dedication. In addition to violin, I also teach basic theory, ear training, and rhythm understanding.
