About Kerby

As a Psychology graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, I have a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping others understand the subject.
I am patient, approachable and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing difficulties. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I adapt my teaching approach to suit each student's individual needs and learning pace.
My aim is not only to help students understand Psychology but also to build their confidence in the subject. I use clear explanations, real-life examples and interactive discussions to make lessons engaging and easier to understand.
Whether you need help with a specific topic, want to strengthen your understanding of Psychology, or are looking for additional support with your studies, I will provide professional, personalised and supportive online lessons.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is friendly, patient and personalised. I believe that Psychology is best understood by connecting theories and concepts to real-life examples, rather than simply memorising information. I first identify the student’s strengths and areas where they need more support, and then adapt each lesson to their individual learning style and goals.
My lessons combine clear explanations, discussions, practical examples, questions and revision exercises. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate so that they can build both their knowledge and confidence. I can also help students understand difficult concepts, prepare for assessments and improve their study techniques.
A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes, although the duration can be adapted depending on the student's needs.
I have graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, giving me a strong academic foundation in the subject. My studies have also helped me develop strong analytical, communication and listening skills, which I use to make lessons clear and easy to understand.
My lessons are aimed primarily at intermediate-level Psychology students, including teenagers and young adults who want additional support with their studies. Whether you are struggling with a particular topic or simply want to strengthen your understanding of Psychology, I aim to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment.
