About Chantall

Hello! My name is Chantall, and I’m dedicated to helping students achieve success in maths. With 2 years as a teaching assistant and 5 years as a certified online tutor, supported by a science degree, I provide engaging lessons in basic maths, geometry, pre-algebra, and algebra. My approach blends patience, clear explanations, and interactive problem-solving, ensuring every student learns at their own pace. Whether you want to strengthen foundations or tackle challenges, I’ll support your journey and help make maths enjoyable and rewarding.

Perfect! Really appreciate her time, effort and support for teaching my daughter, her A level maths. Chantelle will teach till she understands the concept. I would highly recommend her ability and methodology in teaching maths.

They are able to grasp concepts quickly if they are shown and explained clearly. They get excited (in their own way) when they have that eureka moment of understanding. Improvement that need to happen have a lot to do with confidence. Confidence with what they know and also to say I still don’t get it or I need time to process it. Memorisation of standard equations needs work but that will come with time especially if they were never taught it.

And bringing what they don’t understand from school forward a bit more.

Something I noticed was she needs alternate ways of doing a problem or continuing a problem. As some of the ways she has been taught are the long drawn out ways that can become more confusing as the problems get more complicated or they never really stuck to begin with this is causing her to take more time to do stuff.

Chantall is a great tutor . She assisted me with an assignment after she was recommended by a friend. She guides and encourages her students to understand questions asked , assignments given. She gets you to think and find the solutions ,guaranteeing that you leave a session more knowledgable, you understand concepts and formulas . She gets you to really think about the assignment . You are far more confident how to approach your assignment. She doesn't do the work for you she facilates you doing it yourself and hence completing your assignment as required.
Chantall is knowledgeable in many subject areas.
She exhibits Confidence in her knowledge which inturn makes you feel confident what you are doing.
She listens and does her best to assist you within the boundaries of assisting .
If you are fearful about an assignment or a subject she knows how to remove that fear.
