About Renan

I'm a calm, easy-going person but also focused on getting results. I love the challenge of teaching and the satisfaction of a student learning something they previously thought was too complex. I always leave class energized because teaching excites me!

About the lesson

I strive to create a calm and open environment so that learning can happen without stress. I often notice that students don't have a problem with the subject, but rather an anxiety to the subject. The first goal is to eliminate that problem.

I have a clear commitment to my students: to meet them where they are, regardless of their level of knowledge, and then chart a path for us to follow together.

I like to work with exercises and, as issues arise, I explain the content surrounding what is needed. This way, the student understands how to solve the problem, where that solution comes from, and why it's the way it is.

I understand that it's my responsibility to explain it in a way the student understands: if the student is paying attention and doesn't understand, that's my responsibility! Therefore, I have a lot of patience and dedication!
