About

I am a college student double majoring in Aerospace Engineering and Applied Math and the thing that I enjoy most about my studies is the feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction that comes from working through challenging problems and seeing my hard work pay off. There's something incredibly rewarding about putting in the effort to truly understand something and finally having that "aha" moment--that's exactly what I hope to help my students experience too. I’ve worked with students from elementary to high school and try my best to always create a relaxed, supportive space where it’s okay to ask questions and take your time. I focus on breaking things down clearly and finding ways to make the material click, and I’m here to help you build confidence, feel capable, and succeed at your own pace.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. From my own experience as an engineering and applied math student, I know that mastering STEM concepts involves making mistakes and learning from them so I believe that it is important to create an environment where a student feels comfortable asking for help. My teaching method involves breaking down complex math and physics concepts into simple, relatable steps, and using real-life examples to build intuition.

I adapt each lesson to the student’s learning style and pace, often starting with a review of the concepts, making sure that the student has a good grasp on the topic by approaching it in a way that makes sense to them. I follow this up by targeted practice problems and end with a summary and time for questions.

My lessons are ideal for middle school to early college students who need help with topics ranging from algebra and mechanics to calculus and electromagnetism. What sets me apart is my dual background in engineering and applied mathematics, which allows me to connect theory with practical applications, and my experience working with younger students in one-on-one settings, where I’ve developed a patient and clear communication style.
