I teach by example. I present a problem to the student which they should be able to solve from methods they already know. If they have trouble I decompose and explain the problem further. Furthermore I teach new concepts beginning with theory and understanding, followed by practice and implementation.
As well as specialising in teaching development using Python:
I can teach modules such as:
- Programming and software development (Python)
- Components of a computer
- Systems software (operating systems and application software)
- Exchanging data (compression, encryption, databases)
- Networks and web technologies (the internet, web development, network topologies and types)
- Data types (primitive, ASCII/Unicode, binary arithmetic, bitwise manipulation)
- Data structures (Arrays, lists, queues, stacks, hash tables, etc)
My teaching is aimed towards younger students such as those doing exams such as GCSEs or A-Levels, as well as students who just wish to learn the concepts of python and development.
