"Truthfully, my transition from an Engineering Physics degree to full-time tutoring was a shift toward helping students gain entry into competitive programs. My 13 years of experience allow me to break down reaction mechanisms, thermochemistry, and lab practical work into manageable parts for my pupils.
I emphasize inorganic chemistry, stoichiometry, and the mole concept because these form the backbone of university level science success. My methodology integrates numerical problem solving with organic chemistry and electrochemistry to ensure you grasp the logic behind equation balancing. "My teaching philosophy treats every chemical process as a logical engineering problem to be solved. Because I hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Physics, I focus on the underlying mechanics of reactions rather than rote memorization. We spend our time applying stoichiometric ratios and solving complex numerical problems to prepare you for the rigors of university chemistry. It is helpful to treat lab reports and practical work as opportunities to test these core theories in a controlled way.
