About Jian Kai
Hello! My name is Jian Kai, and I'm passionate about helping students gain a deep and lasting understanding of technical subjects. With a strong academic foundation from Cornell University, where I’m pursuing both my Master of Engineering in Engineering Management and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering and Operations Research, I bring both depth and clarity to my teaching. I’ve consistently earned top honors—including induction into Tau Beta Pi and recognition as a Merrill Presidential Scholar—and have hands-on experience supporting students as a teaching assistant across multiple engineering courses. I take pride in my ability to explain complex ideas in simple, structured ways. Whether you're struggling with the fundamentals or aiming for top performance, I will meet you where you are, support you with patience, and guide you with proven strategies tailored to your learning style. My goal is not just to help you pass your course, but to help you build confidence in your ability to learn, reason, and solve problems independently.
