About Phoebe

I have been tutoring for a year both in-person and online and have helped students from year 7 to A-level improve their grades and their confidence in maths and science. I have experience tutoring a small group of year 11 students in GCSE biology, helping them to achieve A grades in their exams by taking them through past papers and explaining material they did not understand. I have also volunteered teaching maths to primary school children.

About the lesson

I am a recent graduate with a 1st class master's degree in mechanical engineering, and have been tutoring for a year. I am available to teach primary, GCSE and A-level maths, physics, and chemistry lessons. My lessons will involve outlining specific areas of the course with reference to the exam board specification and working through example questions with the student. The lessons will be tailored to the student depending on how they learn best, and I will also help them to figure out a method of revision that works best for them.
