Teaching Method and Techniques: I adopt a student-centered approach in my one-to-one online sessions, tailoring lessons to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student. I incorporate interactive activities, real-world examples, and technology to make complex concepts in math, science, and programming accessible and engaging. Additionally, I use gamification techniques to make learning fun and motivating, turning lessons into exciting challenges and rewarding progress to keep students engaged and enthusiastic.
A Typical Online Lesson Plan:
Introduction (5 minutes): Brief overview of the day's topic and its relevance.
Warm-Up (10 minutes): Quick review of previous lessons and a few warm-up problems, often presented as fun quizzes or games.
Main Lesson (20 minutes): Interactive teaching of new concepts using multimedia tools, real-life examples, and gamified elements like points and badges.
Practice (15 minutes): Hands-on activities, problem-solving exercises, and discussions, often structured as collaborative games or competitions.
Review and Q&A (10 minutes): Recap of key points, addressing any questions, and providing additional resources for further study, with opportunities to earn rewards for participation.
