About Louis
I want to teach as I remember being at school and struggling myself on various topics. Sometimes it is hard to get the teacher's attention in class in order to grasp a topic.
That's where I come in; I love to work through problems with students and watch them grow and move onto bigger problems, hopefully onto the point where they no longer need me.
It is all about building confidence, once students have the confidence to tackle and recognise patterns in the problems, growth soon becomes exponential.
I have taught sailing from the age of 14 and maths from 16, years on from that I still love to teach and pass on a little knowledge and confidence:)

-My teaching is based around a student's current problems, but I always like to relate solutions to real-world examples ending with a challenge for the student to go away and work on.
-Recommended Lesson time: 45-60 mins but 30 minutes is also okay if it is a smaller problem:)
-I have tutored GCSE students during my time at college and university. I also now provide teaching support at the university and run tutorial sessions.
-Open to all ages.
