About Leah
I am currently a student at Juniata College in central PA having just finished my sophomore year. I study environmental engineering and Spanish, and I plan on getting a Master's degree in sustainability at RIT.
I've always been a star student. Algebra and Intro Physics are my guilty pleasures.
At my college, I have had great success being a calculus and fluid mechanics tutor.

As an engineering student, I know how frustrating learning these meticulous subjects can be. I'm here to help students of any level from elementary to university make this learning process as painless (and dare I say... fun?) as possible.
In my tutoring sessions, mistakes are welcomed. Obnoxious theorems and rules are complained about. Exam anxiety is met with comforting humor and encouragement. I know that venting about teacher unfairness is a part of getting through a class!
I have a great mix of work and play, making it easier for students to stay engaged and motivated. I work best when tutees have specific questions about homework or exam problems, but I can certainly make up problems for us if needed.
