My teaching method is understanding. In my opinion, every child has the potential to become the next Einstein and revolutionize the world as we know it, so my approach is trying to understand how his/her wheels are spinning. Once I figure out how he/she thinks, I can easily adapt and teach efficiently. I never simply say "Your method is wrong". I try to understand why he/she thought that way and then correct it. After all, every new discovery was thought to be wrong at the beginning.
I hate writing and boring documentation so I usually create my own study materials and my lessons are divided in 2: understanding (discussion, arguments) and practice (Exercises and by-hand solved problems). I try to make it all fun. After all, science is something that should not be treated as boring.
