About Shreya

I'm currently studying Bioengineering at a top university in London. I have tutored for 3 years with significant success among students. My university course requires a deep insight in mathematics, engineering, science and computing for which I am well equipped with top grade A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have prior tutoring experience. One of my GCSE Maths tutees has improved from a C grade to an A* grade within months.

About the lesson

I have many practice books, online resources and I also prepare my own notes tailored to the student's style. In the first lesson I conduct a comprehensive test which highlights the gaps in knowledge/application. The following lessons are based on these gaps and/or questions/problems that the student asks for help with. I believe in tailored sessions, as each individual has their own way of learning. I also provide additional support for special educational needs. I use a variety of resources such as interactive lessons, videos, PowerPoints and a variety of notes, worksheets, and books.
I have tutored students of varying abilities and have helped build their confidence. My group sessions are particularly engaging as I have quiz type activities to get the students excited and enhance their confidence.
