About Mihir
My name is Mihir Kulkarni and I am an engineering student at UCLA. I have experience tutoring students in a range of mathematics subjects and know how to teach concepts in a way that promotes long-term understanding. I am a friendly and approachable person who is always willing to be flexible and adjust my teaching style to best suit the student. I take pride in being able to help my students grow and prepare my lessons with care and attention to detail. I look forward to working with you!

My teaching style focuses on keeping the student involved and engaged. A typical lesson plan includes a brief introduction to a topic, followed by a set of guided problems with the help of the tutor. Once the student has developed a basic understanding of the concept, I try to have them complete problems independently, providing guidance when needed and asking questions to prompt students in the right direction. This helps students gain the ability to solve future problems without the help of a tutor and excel in their academics!
I strive to adjust my style for every student’s needs and make adjustments based on how the student is progressing. My flexibility and patience will help students maximize their growth and become more confident in their academic abilities.
