About Juan
I am a current MDC Honors student who graduated from Center for International Education. I took various Cambridge courses during my time in high school including AS Level Mechanics, AS and A level Pure Math, and others. I believe that math is a wonderful subject that unfortunately has a negative stigma around it. I once struggled greatly with mathematics and have overcome this struggle through practice and determination. I hope to help others who struggle with it and help them not only understand math, but learn to love it.

My lessons are focused on helping the student understand. I am patient and understanding. I will create my lesson plan around whatever the student deems is necessary in their understanding of a certain subject. I will attempt to teach a concept broadly to help the student understand it in a different context, and then focus on the specific problems the student will encounter in their academic careers. Afterwards I will have various example problems for me and the student to work on in order to reinforce their understanding.
