I rely on different methods of language teaching, especially following the communicative approach. The class follows an inductive structure: we start by analysing examples so that, afterwards, the students can work out on their own how to use new structures. This way, we don't hace to do long and boring explanations that end up confusing students. After this, we do exercises to practice the form/structure that we just learned. Finally, we move on to the most important part: we apply the new grammar and/or new vocabulary to different communicative activities in which students practice fluency.
