About Jeremy
I have been in tutoring for 4 years and I taught French as a teaching assistant in the United States for 2 years. I was an English assistant in 2014 for 3 months at a school in Nantes named The Jolivrie while I completed my studies abroad. My students all improved their English skills by talking with me, studying new vocabulary, grammar, verbal expressions, and learning more about American culture. You have to study the language but also the culture in which it is expressed.

Classes vary depending on the level of the student. I create my own lessons (grammar, vocabulary, submersion in the context), but I can also help as a tutor to teach students how to learn in their way to study English and / or Spanish. I analyze the weaknesses and abilities of my students before creating a lesson plan for them so that I can check what teaching style I should use. I take into account the skills shown in writing, aural, visual, etc. Then, I prepare lessons to enhance knowledge of the language and give consideration towards the end of the lesson, which aims to challenge the student. Sometimes we go into town to give context to the vocabulary. It is very important to learn grammar and vocabulary, but it is more important to practice them in daily life. Sometimes there will be simple or complex debates and we'll go into town to try and learn how to order something in English / Spanish etc.
