I decided to take French lessons with Julia for couple months before my exchange semester in France. I already had some basic knowledge in French that I had learned in school, but after these lessons I have gained more fluency, expanded my vocabulary and gotten helpful explanations about how the French language works. I have also learned more about the French culture in general which is good to know before going to France. Thanks to Julia I'm now more confident and prepared to go use the language in France!

Learning French has been on my bucket list for a while… However, I had very basic knowledge and knew that it would take time, dedication and I could never reach a satisfactory level without a tutor. So, I decided to contact Julia a couple of months ago and have met with her on a weekly basis since then.
Julia turned out to be a fantastic tutor and an invaluable asset to help me get a basic grasp on the French language. My objective is to improve my spoken fluency and listening comprehension. I also hoped to expand my vocabulary through the reading and discussion of topics. Julia has presented varied and stimulating subjects for reading, practice and analysis, and I have made noticeable strides with her help. She is a gentle, competent, responsive, and reliable teacher.

Julia is a great teacher! She knows how to motivate students and she is super nice and enthusiastic. She always finds multiple ways to practice in such interesting and efficient ways. she boils down what's important and can explain why things are the way they are so I remember. Her English is perfect and as she's learning Swedish she can make links with that and compare the languages, it's great!

Julia har koll på vad det är som händer i språket, något som är tydligt då hon enkelt bryter ned komplexa meningstrukturer och gör de lättförståeliga, vilket har öppnat upp det franska språket för mig. Hon uppvisar också en god språkkänsla när vi konverserar, och kan ge många alternativ på olika sätt att formulera sig, samt är bra på att lägga märke till upprepade misstag.

I recommend Julia for learning languages, she helps me a lot with my English (I'm French)! I take weekly classes with her to prepare for an internship abroad (one day...), and it's going so well! Thanks to our sessions I learned to be more confident and I can now speak fluently, I was very stressed about talking (I had never talked in English) and we've practice in a very nice and relaxed way. She's inspiring and so helpful for anxious, self-conscious students, she really helped me be more okay with not being perfect but to keep talking!

Julia taught me French online for 7 months, I learned a lot and could see real progress!
