With a C2 proficiency level (maximum IELTS level) I have grammatical and lexical knowledge of the language. However, I focus my classes on the student's ability to communicate. Because I have daily contact with English, I keep up-to-date with changes in the language and new slang and expressions. I am currently living in Italy, and working for a Canadian company.
In my classes we will practice all aspects of language, focusing on understanding and not translating, so that you develop the language in a natural way and become fluent. The lessons involve grammatical explanation of sentence structures and a lot of practice.
I have been working as an English teacher since 2009, and as a student of other languages (I speak Spanish, Italian and German) I can easily identify when a student is having difficulty understanding and the best techniques to help.
