About JENNIFER

I am a Licensed Professional Teacher with nearly a decade of teaching experience in the Department of Education. I graduated from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Taguig Campus with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, major in English, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree to further strengthen my knowledge and expertise in education.

Although my academic specialization is English, I was assigned to teach Filipino when I joined the Department of Education in 2016. What started as an unexpected assignment became a rewarding career that inspired me to continuously grow as a Filipino educator.

Over the years, I have participated in numerous seminars, workshops, and professional development programs focused on Filipino language, literature, research, and effective teaching strategies. These experiences have equipped me with the skills to make learning Filipino engaging, practical, and meaningful for students of different backgrounds and learning levels.

I believe that effective teaching goes beyond delivering lessons—it is about inspiring confidence, encouraging critical thinking, and helping students achieve their personal and academic goals. Every lesson I conduct is tailored to the learner's needs, learning style, and pace to ensure steady progress and lasting understanding.

Whether you need support in Filipino grammar, literature, academic writing, research, oral communication, or examination preparation, I am committed to providing a positive and supportive learning experience. My goal is to help every student become more confident and successful while developing a deeper appreciation for the Filipino language.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to help students build confidence and improve their Filipino language skills through interactive and personalized instruction. I begin by identifying each student's learning needs, strengths, and areas for improvement. From there, I prepare lessons that are engaging, practical, and suited to their pace and learning style.

A typical lesson includes a brief review of previous topics, discussion of new concepts, guided practice, and activities that encourage critical thinking and effective communication. I also provide constructive feedback and additional exercises to reinforce learning.

I can help students with Filipino grammar, literature, reading comprehension, academic writing, research, oral communication, and exam preparation. Whether you are a high school or college student, a professional, or someone simply interested in improving your Filipino, my lessons are tailored to help you achieve your goals in a supportive and encouraging learning environment.

As a Department of Education teacher since 2016, I bring years of classroom experience and a genuine passion for teaching. My goal is not only to help students understand Filipino but also to develop their confidence in using the language effectively in both academic and real-life situations.
