About Jeremy INGLÉS & HOLANDÉS

My name is Jeremy and I am originally from the United States of America. I speak Dutch, European and Mexican Spanish and English is my mother tongue, which I speak with an American accent. For over 20 years, I have studied and worked in Finance, Accounting and Tax living in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas. I am a certified accountant by the international organization ACCA, and a Registered Agent before the tax authority of the United States of America. I have taken the GMAT exam with a score of 730 (96th percentile) and I have a 250-hour certificate to teach English as a foreign language (TEFL) with over 300 hours of teaching experience.

About the lesson

Hello!

Thank you for your interest in taking English classes with me. I teach English to adults, even beginners, and English for Business and Finance.

My classes are made up of different topics and are customized to your needs and way of learning. They usually start with a warm-up, then vocabulary and pronunciation of a topic, before moving on to reading and writing exercises, and ending with an oral presentation and conversation.

If this is your first class with me, you need to book a 30-minute trial class. The objective of the trial class is to get to know you, determine your current level, learning style and goals. The cost of the trial class is MXN 50, to be paid in advance.

Please note the following:

All classes are individual and are taught by Skype or WhatsApp, preferably on a laptop or tablet with a webcam. For face-to-face classes, please ask for availability and prices.

Each class is 1 hour long and includes a 5-minute break (55 minutes total).

All reservations and any changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Classes are assigned in the order in which each student's request and payment confirmation is received.

All payments must be made in advance through bank transfer or Paypal.

Currently the schedule is as follows (GMT - 5 hours) and the calendar tends to be filled a few days before each date. Please
indicate 3 dates and times that suit you.

Sunday: 8am-11am
Monday - Thursday: 8am-1pm, 4pm-8pm
Friday: 8am-1pm

On some occasions, classes can be booked on a special schedule at a mutually convenient time.

First, a little background information about me:

For over 20 years, I have studied and worked in Finance, Accounting & Tax living across Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Americas. I am an ACCA chartered accountant, Enrolled Agent before the US IRS, completed the GMAT with a score of 730 (96% percentile) and I have a 250-hour Teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate with over 300 hours of teaching experience.

My classes are divided into different subjects and are personalized to your needs and learning style. Generally, my classes begin with a warm-up, followed by vocabulary and pronunciation of a specific subject, before continuing with reading and writing exercises and finishing up with speaking and an oral conversation.

If this is your first class with me, you will first book a 30 minute trial lesson. The trial lesson is for me to get to know you, assess your current level of English and know your language learning style and goals. The trial lesson costs MXN 50, payable in advance.
