About Caitlin

Hey! My name's Caitlin, I'm from the south of England, and I would love to support your development in English! I've just finished 2 years in Spain teaching English as a foreign language. I'm now back living in the UK but I want to continue teaching English with the experience I have gained!

About the lesson

I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment for you to flourish. I want you to feel comfortable making mistakes and experience a full immersion of the language. Being a language learner myself, this is how I believe it is best to learn! • I have experience teaching any age and at any level. In Spain, I taught in primary schools and privately tutored adolescents and adults from beginner to C1 level. I have also taught B1 level English in two international summer camps for students aged 11-18. • I will tailor my lessons to your goals, whether you want to work towards a specific English qualification, or you simply prefer to practise your speaking with a natural, relaxed conversation. It's up to you! • Lessons will be 1 hour long, and include bespoke activities and projects on British culture created by me, reading and comprehension-style questions, grammar exercises, conversation-starter exercises and mock exams. We will also keep it fun with the occasional game. • From living in Spain, I have specific experience teaching English to Spanish speakers. I speak Spanish at a B1 level. However, it doesn't matter where you come from, I can teach you! Don't hesitate to get in contact with me and ask any questions. I look forward to meeting you!

It was an incredible experience because we not only learned to speak fluent English but we learned a lot about, for example, the customs in other countries, in this way the classes were much more enjoyable and fun.
