About Nayah

Hello! My name is Nayah Stella Tasah, and I am a passionate English and French language professional from Cameroon.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in English and French and a Master's degree in Translation, specializing in French-to-English translation. My academic background has given me a strong understanding of both languages, including grammar, vocabulary, communication, writing, and translation.

I want to teach because I enjoy helping people discover the confidence that comes with being able to communicate effectively in another language. I understand that learning a new language can sometimes feel challenging, so I aim to create a friendly, patient, and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving step by step.

Whether you are learning English or French for school, university, work, travel, an interview, or personal development, I will tailor our lessons to your specific goals and level.

As your tutor, I will be committed to being professional, well-prepared, patient, and attentive to your progress. My goal is not only to help you learn the language but also to help you become a confident communicator.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is interactive, practical, and adapted to each student's individual needs and goals. I believe that learning a language should go beyond memorizing grammar rules; students should have regular opportunities to communicate, practice, and build confidence.

I use a combination of conversation, guided practice, grammar and vocabulary activities, reading, writing, pronunciation exercises, and real-life communication tasks. I adapt my teaching methods according to the student's level, learning style, and objectives. For example, a student preparing for an interview may focus on speaking and professional vocabulary, while a university student may need more emphasis on academic writing and grammar.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although I can adapt the lesson length depending on the student's needs and availability. I usually begin by reviewing previous work, introduce the main topic or skill for the lesson, provide guided practice, and finish with feedback and recommendations for further improvement.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in English and French and a Master's degree in Translation, specializing in French-to-English translation. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in English and French language, grammar, communication, writing, and translation.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners, including teenagers, university students, adults, and professionals. I can help learners improve their English or French for everyday communication, academic purposes, professional communication, interviews, presentations, travel, or personal development.

I especially welcome French-speaking learners who want to improve their English and English-speaking learners who want to improve their French. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where every student can learn at their own pace and become a more confident language user.
