About Amina

Hi, I'm Amina Zulfiqar — a reader, a writer and a teacher from Pakistan. I completed my BS in English in 2022 and I have been teaching since then.
With my B.Ed, I bring pedagogical knowledge into my class. I don't use one fixed method — I adapt my methods to your needs.

I teach English because I believe English is just a 1-inch barrier. Like Bong Joon Ho said about subtitles - "Once you overcome that 1-inch barrier, you will be introduced to so many more amazing films." Same is with English. Once you overcome this barrier, you can watch whatever you want, learn whatever you want, and go wherever you want. My job is to help you overcome that barrier.
I'm proficient in English, and if you're new to the English speaking community, welcome to my class! I will make English fun for you.

About the lesson

My approach is The Socratic Activation Method. In our demo, I won't lecture you. I will ask you to write your intro and tell me who you are! With me, you will learn to make efforts and celebrate your mistakes as we only learn when we make mistakes. You already have an English exposure in your schools. So it's already in the back of your head.
That's why in my classes, I focus on translation, vocabulary & pronunciation to bridge the gap from the back of your head to your mouth. Once basics are clear, you naturally start using complex structures. Adapts to zero-level to advanced. For girls only.
