About Isla

I hold an M.A. in English Language and Communication Studies and have 12 years of experience teaching English to learners from diverse backgrounds. My training allows me to balance linguistic accuracy with practical communication skills. I believe language learning should feel empowering and accessible. My teaching style emphasizes clarity, patience, and encouragement. I tailor lessons to each student’s goals, whether academic success, professional growth, or personal confidence. Building independence and self-assurance is a key focus of my work. Outside teaching, I stay engaged with language through reading, writing, and communication research. Teaching English is meaningful to me because I witness students gain confidence in expressing themselves. Supporting their growth as communicators is the most rewarding part of my profession.

About the lesson

My English lessons are designed to help students communicate clearly, confidently, and comfortably in academic, professional, and everyday contexts. I focus on grammar foundations, sentence structure, vocabulary development, pronunciation, reading comprehension, writing clarity, and speaking fluency. Lessons are structured step by step, allowing learners to understand how language works rather than memorizing isolated rules. I create a supportive atmosphere where learners feel encouraged to express ideas freely.

Lesson content is adapted to individual needs. Beginners build confidence with basic grammar, pronunciation, and everyday conversation. Intermediate learners develop reading analysis, structured writing, and discussion skills. Advanced students refine academic writing, professional communication, critical thinking, and expressive nuance. Constructive feedback and guided practice are central to every lesson.

English lessons build confidence beyond language skills. Students develop clearer thinking, stronger self-expression, and improved academic performance. My goal is to help learners feel capable and articulate in any communication setting they encounter.
