About Xaroush

Hello! My name is Xaroush, I am a recent BFA graduate and I would love to support your education in the English language. English is my first language, and I have always had a passion for its rules and structures (and knowing when to break them). I am experienced in academic writing, such as essay and thesis writing, as well as creative writing, poetry and storytelling. I am a compassionate teacher, and work well with neuro-diverse students who struggle to stay focused as well as students learning English for the first time. I am also aware that in today's economic environment, it is increasingly hard to find a job. I am offering support with resume and cover letter writing to ensure your application shines through the rest and assures any future employer of your success in their company. I am offering free 15 minute consultations to discuss your learning goals, my teaching methods, or any other questions you might have. I am also offering sliding scale rates on a needs basis. About the lesson

I like to help support my students through their thought process with practical and academic tools. Oftentimes we can be overwhelmed by the vastness of a topic, I like to help students stay focused and hone in on what they really want to say. With my support, you can polish your ideas into an impressive and academic piece of work, a strong thesis, or a compelling creative work or story. I also work with students wanting to further their learning in basic English Language Proficiency skills. I use a contextual modality of learning which immerses the student into the culture and philosophy of the language, to ground learning in experience and aid in memory. Lastly, I am well equipped to help students and professionals polish their resume and cover letter, to best present their skills, experience, and passion. I can help you ensure the employer is confident you are a good fit for their company.
