About Victor
Hello dear students (and parents),
My name is Victor Nnabuike, and I am passionate about helping students like you master the English language with confidence and joy.
Let me tell you a little about myself and why I chose to become an English tutor.
From a young age, I fell in love with the power of words. English is more than just a subject to me — it is the key that opens doors to better education, exciting careers, international opportunities, and meaningful connections with people from all over the world. Growing up in Nigeria, I saw how strong English skills can transform lives: helping students excel in WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and university admissions; boosting confidence in job interviews; and even making everyday conversations smoother and more professional.
That is why I decided to teach.
I teach because I believe every student deserves the chance to express themselves clearly and fearlessly in English. I remember how frustrating it can be when you know what you want to say but struggle to find the right words — or when fear of mistakes keeps you silent. I don’t want any of my students to go through that. My mission is to create a supportive, friendly, and practical learning space where you feel safe to speak, make mistakes, learn from them, and grow quickly.

I want to share with you why I teach English the way I do — and why I truly believe this approach will help you succeed faster and enjoy the process more.
My tutoring is not about memorizing endless grammar rules or cramming vocabulary lists. Instead, I focus on three simple but powerful principles:
English is a skill, not just a subject.
You don’t learn to speak a language by studying it like Mathematics. You learn it by using it — speaking, listening, reading, and writing every single day. That’s why in our lessons, we spend most of our time actually communicating, not just filling exercise books.
Confidence comes before perfection.
Many students stay silent because they’re afraid of making mistakes. I completely reverse that. In my classes, mistakes are celebrated — they are the fastest way to improve. I create a safe, friendly space where you can speak freely without fear of judgment. The more you speak, the quicker your English improves.
We learn what you actually need.
I don’t follow a rigid textbook. Instead, I tailor every lesson to your real goals — whether you want to speak fluently in conversations, pass WAEC/NECO/JAMB, write excellent essays, prepare for interviews, or even travel abroad. We focus on practical, useful English that you can use immediately outside the classroom.
You will notice from our very first lesson that:
We speak more than we write
We laugh a lot (learning should be enjoyable!)
I correct you gently and explain things simply
Every lesson ends with something you can use right away
My promise to you is this:
