About Tanya

I am a passionate educator with two years of English teaching experience and a background in volunteer tutoring. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology at Monash University, I have developed a deep understanding of how people learn and retain information. Teaching English allows me to combine my academic expertise with my love for helping students enhance their language skills, build confidence, and achieve their academic and professional goals. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, where students feel encouraged to develop their communication skills through structured lessons tailored to their needs. My goal is to make learning English an enriching experience that empowers students to succeed in their academic and professional endeavors.

I am an IB graduate with two years of English teaching experience and a background in volunteer tutoring, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology at Monash University.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether for academic writing, exam preparation, or conversational fluency.

I employ a structured yet flexible approach, incorporating interactive exercises, real-world applications, and detailed feedback to enhance language proficiency. Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, though the duration can be adjusted based on student preferences.

I have worked with students of all levels and ages, ranging from school students refining their essays to adults seeking to improve professional communication skills. Drawing from both formal teaching and volunteer tutoring experience, I strive to create a supportive, engaging, and results-oriented learning environment that fosters confidence in English.
